Computers and printing

The APNK - Aotearoa People's Network Kaharoa provides free access to broadband internet services in public libraries so that everyone can access, experience and create digital content.

We have 7 computers available for public use in our Westport Library, and 3 in Reefton. If you have your own device, we provide free WiFi. We also offer the following:

  • A4 Flatbed Scanner - Free to use, scan to your own USB stick.
  • A4 Printer available - colour or black and white. You can print from our computers or your own device.
  • Photocopier available - colour or black and white.
  • 3 Chromebooks, free to hire and use while in the Westport Library.

See here for our printing fees and charges.

Printing from your own device:

This can now be done from anywhere (including a computer at home) by email.

1. Create a new email message and enter the address monitor@print.apnk.nz. Leave the Subject Line blank.

2. Then to Print a file, attach it (eg PDF, Word, JPG) to the email (you can attach multiple documents to a single email). The content of the email will not be printed, only the attachments. Or if you want to print the email contents send just the email (no attachments).

3.  Send the email.

You will receive a confirmation email from monitor@print.apnk.nz. If several minutes have passed and you haven’t received it, check your Spam/Junk folder.

At the top of the email, it will tell you what the JOB ID for your print job is. Make a note of this number - library staff need this to find the print job in the system.
